Faithful Seed Sowers: Trusting God for the Increase

One of the greatest joys for any Christian is seeing someone come to faith in Christ. Yet not everyone has the privilege of witnessing that precious moment firsthand. Many of us labor quietly — sharing the gospel, showing kindness, and planting seeds of truth in hearts that may take time to grow.

It’s easy to feel discouraged when we don’t see immediate results. But Scripture reminds us:

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”
1 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV)

Our calling is to be faithful in sowing the seed. The harvest belongs to God. Every act of love, every word of truth, every prayer spoken over a soul — these are seeds that the Holy Spirit can use in ways we may never see this side of eternity.

“Be not weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please.”
Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

So, keep sowing. Keep watering. Trust that God is working, even when the soil seems hard or the growth invisible. One day, we will rejoice together over the harvest that only He could bring.

“And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.”
John 4:36 (KJV)
