A traveler stands at a dark crossroads looking toward a brightly lit, open doorway, with a subtle open Bible in the background, illustrating a theological decision between darkness and light.

God’s Sovereignty and Human Choice

  • by

Does the Bible teach that God’s sovereignty eliminates meaningful human choice? In this KJV Bible study, I examine Christ’s mission to seek and save the lost, the Great Commission, Adam and Eve’s responsibility, and Romans 8:29’s connection between foreknowledge and predestination. While sincere Christians hold differing views, I believe Scripture presents God’s invitations as genuine and man’s response as meaningful. Rather than relying on theological systems, this study encourages readers to search the Scriptures and consider whether the Bible’s repeated calls to repent, believe, choose, and come are intended as real opportunities for all who hear the Gospel.
