Many introverts live under constant pressure — pressured to explain their silence, justify their need for space, and prove they aren’t angry, broken, or withdrawn. Meanwhile, extroversion is often treated as the default standard, especially in churches, schools, and workplaces.

James 1:19 reminds us to be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath — not because words are evil, but because timing, wisdom, and listening matter.
